Researchers found that depression and substance use were tied to discontinuation of antiretroviral therapy, therefore hastening the progression of the disease.
A survey finds that HIV prevention programs often exclude men who have sex with men (MSM). The report – from the Global Forum on MSM & HIV – found that only 39 percent of respondents had easy access to free condoms and 57 percent found it to be either difficult or impossible to access HIV testing services.
