UCLA’s Center for HIV Identification, Prevention and Treatment is inviting scientists, researchers, “investigators for all disciplines,” to enter Impact 2012, a contest to bring new information about HIV to people affected, in ways that are accessible and relevant.
That includes in video, writing, or as a link to a new, original web page. Top prize is $5,000. Second prize is $1,000. The top five entries will be displayed at the CHIPT’s exhibit booth at the XIX International AIDS Conference in DC July 22-27.
The contest is open to anyone over 18, worldwide. The official rules are here, but guidelines, they say, are open-ended to encourage creative approaches.
The contest, which began May 15, 2012, is accepting entries until 6 p.m. July 15.
More information is available on CHIPT’s web site.
