VANCOUVER, Canada – A call for all countries to change policies, move resources, and lead efforts to provide antiretroviral drugs to treat all people living with HIV and to prevent transmission of the virus including through prophylactic use has been signed by heads of the worlds largest donor AIDS programs, the leader of UNAIDS, and leading HIV researchers from around the world as the eighth International AIDS Society Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment & Prevention opens today..

The Vancouver Consensus will be released at the conference’s opening this evening, and is open for sign-on.
