International TB and HIV Research Center Seeks Director

The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) and the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) are conducting a search for a director to lead their new TB and HIV research center in Durban, South Africa.


The director will oversee the development and implementation of the Center’s research plan, lead efforts to obtain research funding, and establish a scientific training program. Click here to read a full job description.


The KwaZulu-Natal Research Institute for TB and HIV (K-RITH) is a groundbreaking partnership between HHMI and UKZN to establish an international research center on HIV/TB coinfection. Research partners include Harvard University and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
