USAID releases final RFA for new university engagement partnership program

Dr. Rajiv Shah, administrator for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), announced the final Higher Education Solutions Network Request for Applications (RFA) to create partnerships with universities and colleges at a White House briefing Wednesday. The RFA is a five-year program to partner with universities to support multidisciplinary, evidence-based approaches to development. 

Awards are available for both single institutions and so-called “consortium centers,” which would include three or four academic centers and can include developing country partners.  Concept note submissions are due March 22 and full applications are due July 17.
